Empowering Career Journeys
5 on the Go is a student-focused podcast produced for the UTM Career Centre in collaboration with U of T Alumni. The project was designed to make career learning accessible, engaging, and mobile—allowing students to hear real stories of growth, failure, and transformation directly from professionals. Each five-minute episode is shaped around key themes like career pivots, resilience, and mentorship. The series was produced end-to-end in-house, except for the video & audio recording from concept development and scripting to sound editing, cover art design, and marketing rollout. Accessibility was a key priority, with full transcripts and captioned audio.
End to end production and distribution
With 5 on the Go, the Career Centre introduced a new format of digital storytelling that blends design, communication, and strategy. Beyond serving as a career resource, it became a model for accessible media creation within UTM, showing how institutional storytelling can be human, scalable, and inclusive.
